A digital booking board is a convenient and fair way for residents to book shared facilities such as the laundry room, guest apartment, or common areas. The booking board simplifies the reservation process and ensures that facilities are used in a structured manner. There are also financial benefits, as the smart features of the booking system lead to more even wear and tear on washing machines and other equipment. Each booking board is equipped with sensors that detect when someone approaches. The screen then lights up and becomes available for booking. Simple and energy-efficient.
Time booking – wherever you are
You can easily view available time slots and make bookings in the way that suits you best – via our user-friendly booking app, on your computer, tablet, or directly on the booking board’s touchscreen, thanks to the booking system being connected to VAKA®. The system can also send notifications to remind you when your booking is approaching.
Flexible and adaptable
The system can be customized so that households with more family members are given the opportunity to use the laundry room more frequently. Once a booking has been made, only the person who booked—or selected family members—have access to the facility, providing a high level of security. Bookings can be made more than six months in advance, allowing residents to plan and reserve the association’s facilities well ahead of time. The system can manage up to 240 booking objects.
Smart machine control
Multiple objects can be booked at the same time and also grouped within VAKA®. This allows all residents to use the association’s facilities in a fair and convenient way. Machines such as washing machines or work equipment can also be assigned to groups and controlled by the booking system. Smart machine control can also be used to start, for example, sauna heaters in advance, ensuring that the sauna is warm and ready when it is time to be used.
